SKILLS/ABILITIES:· Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication, observation & Written skills.· Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws.· Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies.· Knowledge of Workplace Violence.· Knowledge of Corporate Integrity & Ethics· Noesis of addictions.· Ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary squad to assist in facets of the recovery program relating to concrete health.· Knowledge of the 12-Step Recovery Program.· Knowledge and competency in problem solving, stress direction, ethics and team building.· Knowledge of alcohol and other drugs that includes;· Booze and addictive drugs and their physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual touch on on the individual.· Alcohol and addictive drugs and their bear on on the family.· Ability to make up one's mind if a medical emergency exists and to take appropriate activity, when necessary.· Knowledge of emergency procedures used in case of alcohol and/or drug overdose.· Knowledge of First Aid and CPR.· Knowledge of Federal, State and Municipal laws and/or regulations that regulate the treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction, including:· Confidentiality· Patient Rights· Professional Lawmaking of Ethics· Discrimination· Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and assumption of responsibilities not delineated in the job description which are related to work every bit a fellow member of an addiction treatment squad.
